Duet with Jo.

I wanted to hear Jo sing a peppy number. I suggested this song to him a couple of weeks ago but couldn't record until this week. As expected Jo did a great job. We both wanted to re-record as we were not satisfied with the overall result, but at the same time we wanted to post it :-) I have never tried an e-Duet, and I would say it's an interesting experience....Let us know what you think!!

Again a nice one but the Music track got little higher waves maybe would sound better if normalised a little just an observation. but the voices are coming out great.... and sounding very lively...

Good work :)

Scrolling down, i saw a note about recording and echo etc...

If it helps, you can try audacity. It is open source and free :)

As far as recording, echo goes - there is quite a standard technique that gets applied to vocal tracks.

1) record a stereo vocal track
2) create 2 replicas
3) pitch shift replica-1 by 0.0-0.8%, add delay (1echo, 0.15s), and pan right
4) pitch shift replica-2 by a -ve of the above, apply the same delay and pan left
5) reduce the gain on these replicas in proportion to the original (-3, -6db)

And you'd have professional sounding vocal mix

All the best !

Good attempt!
This is one of the songs that even tamil movie industry could not resist to remix...check out the rendition by Ranjith and Karthik in Thiruvilayadal Aarambam.
